Caving with an experienced guide is exhilarating in any season. Exploring below the earth’s surface, imagining what might lie behind the next twist and turn, stalactite and stalagmite, keeps the imagination on high alert. Sink holes and caves are found all along Newfoundland and Labrador’s west coast; many have never been explored. During the winter, giant icicles form throughout the Corner Brook Cave System transforming the caves into an underground ice palace.
