Ice Fishing

Whether by snow machine or by foot, there are many ponds that offer great winter fishing. Head to a pond for a couple hours of ice fishing. Feel the sun on your face and the breeze in your hair. Drill a hole, bait a hook and wet a line. There’s trout down there somewhere. Enjoy a traditional Newfoundland boil-up while the fish consider your offering. Nothing rivals the taste of last season’s moose, homemade bread – sans butter – and a cup of strong tea served in the great outdoors.
