Norris Point
Unobstructed views of The Tablelands set this town apart. The James W. Humber Trail is located at the Norris Point Lookout, site of Jenniex Heritage House, a seven-decades-old salt box overlooking Bonne Bay. With its view of The Tablelands this is a photographer’s paradise. The trail brings you 4,000 feet to the seashore and a view of a typical Newfoundland fishing village. This is an ideal location for beachcombing and whale watching. Burnt Hill Trail, located at the Norris Point Waterfront, affords a spectacular view of the town. The Bonne Bay Marine Station is dedicated to expanding knowledge of marine ecology through exhibits and a popular touch tank. Take the water taxi across the bay to historic Woody Point.
