Starts at Deer Lake. Before embarking on your journey, take a deep breath, turn off your Blackberry and set your cell phone to vibrate. This excursion is best approached with a clear mind and an open heart. Expect the unexpected and you won’t be disappointed.
About 20 minutes from Deer Lake is the tiny town of Wiltondale. From here, you can continue along Route 430 through Gros Morne National Park or turn left onto Route 431 to visit the communities of Glenburnie, Woody Point and Trout River. In Wiltondale you will find entrance kiosk for the park.
