Route 432 Roddickton
This logging town offers visitors a unique experience. Roddickton is home to an underground salmon pool that features a beautiful nature trail and river cave. The salmon pool runs underground through a tunnel formed by erosion through the rock. Fish disappear into the opening and reappear about 800 metres away where they rest before continuing upstream. This unique and fascinating site offers visitors an opportunity to view salmon in their natural environment. Site development includes an access road, interpretive signage, a walking trail, boardwalk and viewing area near the pool.
