La Poile
Sailing into La Poile on warm summer day is an experience unlike any other. You can’t help but wonder what it would be like to live here year round. The houses are built close together; your neighbours are your friends; people help each other in good times and in bad. The town is postcard perfect in the summer, with fishing boats off loading their catch, children fishing from the wharf and residents, rather than vehicles, meandering along the main street. The community is serviced by a coastal ferry that makes the one-hour trip from Rose Blanche.
