During June 2024, Go Western NL and partners hosted 30+ Canadian travel media throughout Western Newfoundland as part of the Travel Media Association of Canada (TMAC) Conference that took place in St. John's, NL. The itineraries featured over 50 tours, attractions, accommodations, restaurants, and more.

This resulted in incredible exposure in all forms of media, including blogs, radio, print to audiences across Canada and beyond. Additionally, countless stories, reels, and posts on social media (Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube) were shared in real time. Many tourism operators in Western Newfoundland were featured in these outputs.

Here's a recap of the four familiarization tours aka FAMs.
